    Question ???Top Puget breeders???

    Hi,
I’m really falling in love with Pugets (T. s. pickeringii). I’ve been catching wind of this infamous Bob character. So I am concerned about dealing only with good reputable breeders. In my research I have found Scott F. and Scott H. of Snake Venture. Are these the best breeders of high blues? Is there any other breeders out there I should look into?
    Thanks!

Bob is no "breeder," from what I understand from reading here.

Scott F., I personally think, has inflated prices. But I think he's ethical and a very good person. He's really puts thought and care into his snakes. I say this because of the dealings I've read here about him and his relationships with others and his, Scott's, snakes. I would not hesitate to buy from him - if I were rich. He is, I think though, a good person.

I've no idea who Scott H. is.

Personally, my heart lies with Rick - he's a moderator here... Carazon, or somthing like that. I'm working with him and the man is ethical, caring, not out to make huge amounts of money, and is very very fair. He is understanding, kind and very willing to work with a person. His prices are realistic... Actually "cheap" if you look at other Puget prices. I've yet to receive my snigglettes from him, but I do know someone that has. My take on what she has told me is she's very thrilled and happy and the snakes "are gorgeous!"

My opinion, I'd work with Rick way before working with Scott. Just me.

Scott H. is the guy I got my female puget from. I believe he originally bought from Bob and doctored them until they were healthy. He bred from those. He attends our Grand Rapids reptile expo.

NOW THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!
Your Pugets are outstanding. In fact, I saw those pics on another thread and it made me want one for sure.

    Are those considered “high blue”?

Not in your case, but in general are males usually brighter and more brilliant in color than females?

    Thanks for sharing.

yes my pugets would be considered high blue, and from what ive seen males are usually a lot more navy blue whereas females are more navy-sky blue
