    Snake not eating Help!!!!

My one and a half moth old T.Similis isn't eating properly. Even in previous shed, he ate at least two to three worms (redworms) every two days. But now, he is barely eating one per his schedule. I do supplement his diet with repti calcium and fish if I get it, any ideas on what I should do? He does look kind of skinny. He is not close to shedding either. I would hate to lose this little guy, as he is my first garter and has many years ahead of him

First, redworms (AKA red wrigglers, or trout worms) are highly toxic. As in, very bad. Switch to nightcrawlers.

When did he stop eating? May be just fine.

if he is eating red wigglers, he might not be feeling too well, as they are poisonous! Offer him some regular earthworms or chopped nightcrawler.

I had no idea they were the same species!!!!! thx for the advice guys! It has been getting a bit chillier here these past few days, but the temp inside my house dropped only a few degrees. Its probably the worms. Ill switch him onto those earthworms rigt away

Yeah, I don't know the affect from red wrigglers, but that's probably it.
