My girls, Nova, Honda, VP and Boomerang were all resting under the cold side hide. I was able to get this photo. These 4 work so well together. The only girl that is missing is Rita(R.I.P.)
I just noticed the old girl(Boomerang) has surrounded all the others, keeping them safe. What a good girl.

The best part about this group is how friendly they are. No startle response or jumpiness.
Just 4 well behaved ladies. They are a special group here on the Ranch.
I may try some late Fall breeding with Boomerang since she passed on Spring breeding.
She's getting to be an older snake.Steve

Awww, very adorable snakes
Snakey and Mama are often found laying together. Mama usually wraps herself around Snakey as if she were protecting him. When I introduced Runt and Snakey, Snakey coiled up after a while and Runt laid on top of him. It was the cutest thing ever!

Thanks for all the comments. That enclosure seems empty without Rita.
A couple more years and I'll have some little Rita's running around the Ranch.
I have a couple of her sons that will be breeding size and age in the Spring. None of the females will be ready for next Spring.
One thing I have plenty of is patience, being a father of 5 kids and 4 of them girls
I have lots of it.
