hey im new!
hi guys! i was recommended this forum by gregmonsta. i seem to have landed myself in a bit of a pickle! i have rescued a snake that was about the be euthanised as it was no longer wanted by a child!
i have never kept snakes, or any other reptiles for that matter. but i have studied how to keep bearded dragons, leopard geckos and tortoises for work (yes i work at pets at home) so i do have a lot of knowledge on many animals - i am also studying Zoo Management at Chester Uni.
but for now i would just like some advice on garter snakes.. tips and advice to get started as its just in a simple box at the moment!
thanks steph

Nice to have you on the forum.
Greg who? Just kidding.
A good place to start would be the care sheet. Here's a link to that http://www.thamnophis.com/caresheets...#Garter_Snakes
Thanks for stepping in and saving the snake. We would love to see a photo once you get settled in.

I forgot to say the husbandry section is another good place to rummage for handy advice.

Try again. There are sometimes a few problems with new members' first few posts, besides them needing to be approved by a moderator before they're published.
