    spring in november

this prolonged unseasonable warmth is beginning to be an issue and I am seriously considering putting my brumating snakes all the way outside, instead of just in the sun-porch, where it's sometimes as much as 12º warmer than outside
my parietalis in particular, are very much active, and who can blame them, considering I just harvested some excellent tomatoes in my garden
I may have to get a dedicated fridge in the future if this trend persists

    Re: spring in november

Here in Iowa we had another warm day. I went out and collected about 3 dozen night crawlers. I also collected a couple dozen earth worms out of the mulch. Forecast is calling for possible snow on Tuesday. I'm hoping to do some more worm and slug hunting today. The ones I caught last night were eating already. I've always got a few hungry scrubs around here.

    Steve,

I'd say "a few" is an understatement
