hey guys i dont know if anyone remembers me or not. i havent been on here in over a year. we just got the internet today, first time since december 2007, (since we moved) but i regret to say that i only have 2 garters now a female albino and a male californian. we had an epidemic with mites that i couldnt win and alot of my snakes died, and i havent had the balls to try to start up a colllection again. im so bumbed out because i loved having all of them. hamburg is coming up soon , maybe i will make a purchase. well anyway im hapy to be back on thamnophis

Wow, I am sorry for your loss. I thought that mites were a pest; an annoying one, but one that was relatively textbook to tame. This will definitely have me on a higher watch...

I was actually wondering about you a couple of weeks back

I lost a couple of snakes to complications from mites in the past
it was just awful, realizing I had underestimated the damage they can do
