Sexing Garter Snakes.

So is anyone in Indiana? I'm wondering because I'm having trouble pop-sexing my snakes. I've watched the youtube videos, which is how I'm learning. A few months ago I could sex my albino Checkered male Sebastian, was able to pop him successfully, once. Last night I was able to sex my smallest wild caught Eastern, Ryan, which turns out to be a boy. The other one, Popsicle, the prettily coloured one, I can't seem to sex, or if not, maybe its a female, but I can't pop-sex Sebastian (albino Checkered) anymore for some reason, and Popsicle and Sebastian are about the same size, so I'm wondering if its because their muscles are stronger now and it just makes it tougher? So is anyone in Central Indiana that could help me with this? Or maybe someone just has some tips?

Probably just that they are older and therefore can't be popped any more.

I don't doing "popping" so I'm no expert but I have heard popping older/larger snake can hurt/damage them.
If you would like to post some under tail photos we would be glad to help with sexing them.

Er, decided to go ahead and post a few photos here, that other thread said it wasn't for replies, just showing what it was. And even looking at Popsicle I'm still not sure. I hope these photos are okay though :-)

I think the re-post photo helped a lot, Steve. Popsicle looks more female, because Sebastian has noticeable bulges on the side of his vent. But here's a couple side-ish views to help.

There is no widening of the tail past the vent. Only a nice, shapely female tail tapering.
Some of my male garters where looking over my shoulder as I was checking out the photos.
They were giving wolf whistles and saying things like "Oh baby, slide your pretty little self on over to big daddy"
I think that about says it all
