Welcome to the forum. It seem were are starting to get a following of Canadians. It seems like only last week I was in Quebec enjoying the nice weather, at least on the days it was not raining. :) Glad to have you on the forum.

Hello Charles,

hi sorry for my english i speak french,I have a couple of red tail boa, amazone tree boa,Garter snake for sure.

I'm one of Philippe blais good friend ,i think you know this guy,I'm one of the most garter snake freak,I search them in the wild since I'm 8 years old.

year after year i look for wild freak and especially the flame morph.I got some wild caught specimen, and I will breed my wild flame together in a couple of month.I had never buy some to phil blais ,because i try to find in the wild.since last 10 years I found only 3 female with the red labial scales and one male that had some red in the face,so by now i have just one pair.

I'm looking for the rare 3 strippes flame garter thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis,I only see that in the wild, maby some captive breeds have the lateral, belly, and the labial, but not all red vertebrale scales.

so i had caught a jet black melanistic gartersnake in 1999 in Drummondville quebec even the chin was black, only 2-3 scales on the chin were white.I lost the picture ,but I still have here in the fridge(dead)
