Which color do you like better?

Now before you morph haters start hacking on me realize that the green axanthic is a wild caught animal. The red and black one is a snake that I produced last by selective/line breeding from my best erythristic flame bred to my best looking flame and this was the best of the litter with the most color. Just curious which color people are most attracted to?

Red...absolutely, without a doubt. Not that the green is not gorgeous. But I love flames...the redder the better...the color on that one is fantastic! Just breathtaking...actually made me say "Oh wow"...when I clicked on the thumbnail...

I just showed my son the picture and he asked me if he could have a flame for a pet. I told him we would talk about it. I do plan on getting a flame...probably next summer...but as far as it being his..well, I'm taking care of his hermit crabs so....

I love them both, I think the majority would like the red better though.

the red one is my fav of those two. i just like how vibrant the color is and the black just makes the red pop even more. they're both good lookers though :)

I like them both, I like the red more. Red and Black is great colour combo. Whether I would actively seek either of them is a different story.

That red is really striking, but on reflection, I think I like the subtlety of the green.
Now if the red also had some yellow or blue on stripes or belly, then you'd have me!

Green for me. I like the green and blue color combos, although the red is always nice to see too.

So far we have 4 for red, 4 for green, and one on the fence, lol. Was hoping that there would be a clear favorite. I was hoping this survey might serve as a market research tool and yield a project direction priority. Looks like I will have to work on making more of both colors.

Personally, I like the red in that picture the most, but greens and blues are my favourites over all.

IMO both are equally desirable and are equally worth producing. Flames are always going to be popular and they draw even the not-garter people in. The blue/greens are more attractive to the specialists like myself who know what they are looking at. If that male were more like, puget-sound type blue I think there would be a more clear favorite because NOTHING draws more of a crowd than a solid blue snake. Displaying that female chicago and blue pugets at shows taught me that.

Puget sounds are gorgeous. I think the green snake in that pic is absolutely beautiful...I think blue and green coloring in garters is stunning. I just have this thing for Flames...so naturally I find the red one in the pic more appealing to me personally. But they are both incredibly lovely snakes.

green is one of my favorite colors. red is one that i care for the least. but both of those are lookers. i say go with both.
