She's adorable!!! I've been waiting and waiting for you to get her! How exciting! I wouldn't worry about the humidity...most of us spend all of our time trying to get our humidity up to that level...it will be good for her when it's time for her to shed...that is not really high...really high would be like 70%. Your humidity is up because of your temp being up. Some of the breeders on here recommend higher levels of humidity on a regular basis...so I think you're fine.

Thank's :) , then I guess its fine but with my A/C on the temp went down so on the cool side its at 73F and on the warm side 78 not much of a difference but yea.

She is beautiful! Congrats! Looks like you went with aspen shavings. Your tank looks great, just be really careful if you feed in the tank. A few of our snakes will only eat in tank. I put a hand towel down over the substrate then give the food, that way they don't drag the food around and accidentally swallow substrate. Again, she is gorgeous. I'm very happy for you!

Thank you very much I went with aspen shavings because I saw how much she liked to burrow while I was taking her home. Also I doubt I will feed in tank , I'll be sure to use your way if I do feed inside. Thanks again !:)

I would turn the AC down just a bit if you can...she may like it a bit warmer than that. I would shoot for around 80 on the warm side...but if you can't turn it down, your temps 78/73 are about what mine have been running on very cold winter days here. You are going to have to see what she likes...her behavior will tell you...if she is staying under the lamp on the warm side all the time, she likes it warm and may need it warmer. 78/73 is not bad. I would be more concerned about her not being able to cool down in the really warm temps you had before...but that is my opinion...other members may tell you differently.

I don't know why I didn't think of putting a towel down over the substrate when I was feeding my snakes in the tank. I can be such a ditsy blonde sometimes. I'm putting pieces of paper towel down all over and trying to make sure the snakes don't go off the paper towel....duh...

When I had Cee Cee and Seeley in my son's room, they would come out everytime he had the television on...must have something to do with the vibrations.

Looks nice! It's Jesse...and I have been trying to get him to PM me to tell me how to make one too! Hint, hint...Jesse. I decided I am going to go over to the dollar store and get a little plastic stool to use as a platform until I can make one...I will show you a pic of it when I get it set up, John.

They sell those ? If they do I would go pick one up right now. But my tank still isn't fully secured to i'm kind of hesitant.

Well...I was looking all over my house trying to figure out something I could use or fashion into a platform that would be safe and sturdy enough for the snakes to lounge on top of...something similar to the wooden platform, but that I didn't have to build because I am not very good at building things. After looking at a zillion cardboard boxes and such...the safest thing I could find was a plastic stool that we use in the kitchen as a step stool...it doesn't have any sharp edges and there is plenty of room on top for the snakes to lounge...and I could put stuff underneath too. We got it at the dollar store, so I figure I will go look and see if they have another one like it and see what I can do with it. Not sure when I'll get over there though...hopefully in the next couple of days...I'll post a pic when I get it set up. You can go see what you can find...but if your lid isn't secure...I'd wait until you get it secure.
