Just wanted to post a quick update on Silv's progress. Overall, he is doing.... about the same as always, haha. We are still tube feeding but I think after I feed him tonight I am going to try a week without food and then trying a fish again, just for old time's sake. :) His eye continues to be a problem. It looked pretty much totally cleared up before, but now it is pus-filled again, and his lips are flaring out pretty bad again. I still have some of the antibiotic drops the vet gave last time, so I have started administering those... hopefully that will help and we will not have to go to the vet again. He also might have grown...? I measured his latest shed and I seemed to get about 16 inches. They have always been 14 inches before. So... I am not sure if I simply measured this one wrong or it stretched weird or something but we will see. After a year of no growth at all I would be a bit shocked if he started growing even at all now but I guess anything is possible?
Here is a cute pic from tonight - I came home and found him perfectly curled up on his log, it was too cute so I snapped several shots.
