So I put this new rock formation hide in Selena and Cee Cee's enclosure yesterday...I put moist moss inside for them. Usually when I put a new object in their enclosure, they get all excited and start exploring it right away. But for some reason, they are very weirded out about this new hide. They have both been sitting inside their log hide since yesterday with their little heads poking out...starring at the new rock hide with the oddest looks on their faces...refusing to go near it! I imagine they are thinking something a little like this: Cee Cee: "What the hell is that thing??" Selena: "I have no clue!" Cee Cee: "Well, go touch it". Selena: "I'm not gonna touch it...You go touch it!"...lol...:eek:

Ha... With mine it's either "OH CRAP OH CRAP SOMETHING NEW IS IN MY TANK!" from the blind one or "Eh... I'll go check it out later. Much later." from the baby. And then they begin thinking of ways to use the new object as a potential escape-ladder.

How long do you think it'll take them to decide it's a nice place to be?

Well...Cee Cee has decided it is safe to explore now and is now laying across the rock, but still will not go inside of it. Selena is now starring at Cee Cee like she's nuts! Cee Cee will definitely try to figure out how to use it as an escape tool! I am watching and waiting to see if anyone gets the guts to venture inside...ha ha...aren't garters so funny?!?

Lora...Am I remembering correctly? You said you have a blind snake...It's been a while since I was on the forum and I am trying to remember...are you the person who found the snake last year who was so terribly hurt...maybe it was in your driveway and you thought it had been run over and you took it in and came to the forum to ask how to take care of it? Am I remembering this right?
