hi i have a young eastern, about 7in long and i was wondering if i could get put a checkered or other kind of garter of the same or similar size in with it or not? hes in a 10 gallon tank and i can get a larger one if needed.

If you can confirm that they are the same sex so that there is no possibility of hybridization, they could. 10 Gal is a bit on the small side for two full grown ones though...

yeah but how big of a tank would i need for to full grown snakes and also i think my snake is a boy but im not sure is there a way to tell without going to the vet

My Abby is an Eastern and she gets along great with her cagemate Ziva, a checkered female. They are similar in size.
