Hey I'm from eastern Kentucky I am 17 have never fooled with garter snakes inwould like to no more about them that's why I signed up I have a fairly large collection of reptiles I was raised around them went to a snake handling church for most of my life animal planet just previously did a reality show over my uncle and his passion for snakes I also share he same. passion along with my papaw It has been in my family for generations just want to sign up so I coils learn more about the garter snakes and what and how to breed

Welcome! What show was your uncle on? My cats refuse to watch TV with me unless it's Animal Planet, so there's a good chance I've seen it. lol

They handle snakes during the services. A lot of times it's venomous ones. Sometimes they'll get really close and kiss them on the head and stuff. At least that's how the few we have in our area work.
