I don't know their sexes yet. They are mainly unisex names, except julius and ceasar

I voted for Julius and Ceasar because I didn't see Mango and Tango. I like those better :) They are both super cute snakes though, no matter what you end up calling them.

There is only one Mojo Jojo!
And that is the Mojo Jojo that is me!
One shall be the number of Mojo Jojos in the world, and
the number of Mojo Jojos in the world shall be one!
Two Mojo Jojos is too many, and three is right out!
So the only Mojo Jojo there is room enough in this world shall be me!
And being the only Mojo Jojo in the world,
I will rule the world in which there is only one MOJO JOJO!!

OOOH I VOTE FOR PING AND PONG! How are the little guys doing by the way?

Doing good, finally got the other to eat, now there is a little bit of a size difference since one ate like a pig while the other didn't eat. I just need to drop it by its head and the sudden movement will make it strike. Got it a full belly last night doing that.

Hopefully I'll be able to switch over to pinkies soon. There needs to be pinkies in the extra small variety

What, no "Frick & Frack" ???

BTW, sometimes there's a size difference no matter what. There's more factors involved in size difference than just food intake. There's a lot of factors involved such as hormones, genetics, breeding lines, etc.

I've had snakes born from the same litter (siblings) kept in the same tank, same conditions, both eating about the same, etc. and still sometimes there's a big difference in growth rate/size. Sometimes it's sexual dimorphism, sometimes it's unexplained. A healthy snake with a decent appetite, strong muscle tone, and sometimes, a serious attitude, are good signs even if growth rate isn't what you expect.

In short, don't compare your snake to another snake when it comes to growth rate. Just because one grows faster and bigger than the other doesn't mean it's because of food intake and environmental conditions. Garters, like many species, have a better chance of surviving as a species if there are varying growth rates and food preferences over time, even under the same conditions. What if the environment changed so dramatically that nature favored smaller snakes? What if it favored faster growth? The point is, variety ensures a better chance of survival. We should never forget that we as hobbiests are keeping wild animals. Garters in particular are a highly variable and intergradeable species. This is no doubt, why they are so successful and widespread.

Voted for everything.

I would like to hear a strong opinion one way or the other from you Stefan. I respect your opinion and when you go "neutral" it's like... well, you know. I like Stefan, but do I really know him? No. Not really. If I don't, can I really like or dislike him? (not that it matters here) For someone who remains neutral, can you ever really know what they really think? C'mon Stefan. There must be one or another, or one or two, names that you like better than the others. Go ahead and vote for all but doesn't that make your vote null? Surely you have one or two names you prefer above the rest.

I don't want to speak for the rest of us, but I am very interested in what Stefan really thinks about the name choices. Does he like one or a few more than the others? does he not give a **** one way or the other?

Glad to hear that theyre doing well. Most of the babies here at home are finally taking unscented pinkies! Of the extra small kind by the way :P Only one little runt is resisting everything but fish. A few of the babies are huge and a few are a little smaller. Richard was spot on with his post. It does appear that every baby is different in growth. Glad to hear they are doing wel!

Richard, perhaps Stefan is like me in this case... Sometimes neutral is the best place to be. When you look at the pros and cons of both sides, sometimes nothing is much better. Interviewers hate it when they ask me something and I say "no opinion", but what am I supposed to do, force myself to have an opinion that I don't like?
