My friend sent me this link. She is not the "snake type" but has grown to almost like them since I have them as my companions. She even babysat them while I was on vacation. That took alot for a "non-snake" person, to stop in and change water dishes, with all my guys slithering around in the tank while she was doing it!

Nice to see someone cared.
That first photo isn't the same snake as the other photo.
Looks like the rescued snake is a female T.s.parietalis (Red Sided Garter Snake)

Yeah, maybe that was used as reference or something. Still, happy ending all in all.

I needed to hear a story like that today :)

Yeah, I was looking at that top photo wondering what sort of wire those people were using that was small enough for a snake that little to get caught in it.

thanks Le Ann there is nothing better than reading a tale that leaves you with that warm glow feeling, we need more of those feelgood story's :)

two story's in one really, its nice to hear of your friend overcoming her fears to help you out :)

that's a good story
particularly for the lovely garter
