Hey guys. You know the feeling you get when you send a baby garter to its new home? Yeah thats the one. That happy and sad moment. Well today I had the pleasure of meeting Mathew (Kantar) who came over to take two of the het. albino baby checkereds. Anyways, I am very happy that these little gus went to a good place and I look forward to seeing many pictures of them growing up!

Thanks Neil
I can't wait to watch them grow
Right now they are in a 5 gallon for a month or so until I switch them to a 10 gallon. I just need to learn if they like to hide, climb or wander around lots. So far it looks like they are explorers

They are good looking snakes. I like checkereds and you have some lovely colours on those ones. We're picking up some from PinJohn tomorrow. :)

The one on the left has a black line through the dorsal stripe at the neck.

Yeah, I guess it's cause I've never had one of the same species together. All 5 are different.

I'm starting to mix my WC with my albino checkereds. After keeping Frosty (albino checkered) and serpent (radix) together for a year without a problem. I've done the same to Blizzard (albino checkered) and Sunny (red-sided) and they seem to be doing pretty good.
Right now it looks like I have 3 females and 4 males, once I get my new stand built and get the new tank I'll be seperating the males and females. I don't know what these 2 new ones are, one is in shed right now, can't wait to see the bright colors :)
