Welcome again (in your own welcome thread). :)

I know nothing about the pugets you catch, I don't know if there are many CB pugets in the UK. I'm just jealous of you guys that can go out and catch snakes, our native snakes are all protected (all 3 species) with up to £20k fine or 51 weeks prison for disturbing them.

I find lots of beautiful Puget Sound’s in my area a couple times. I found some red phase Puget Sound’s but yeah, I would love to help with the project.

Welcome to the forum. I love your enthusiasm for snakes. We must educate the public as to how a simple garter fits in the environment.

Max, do you have pics of vids of this red phase Puget. I have the red sided and the lightly red barred.

Nevertheless, would like to see the red phase you speak of, or even start a red phase project.

Welcome from a breezy but sunny Liverpool

Is it always windy in Liverpool John? "Liverpool the Windy City"... Doesn't have the same ring as Chicago. :)

perhaps not quite the windy city but the breeze gets up a head of steam racing up the mersey from the Irish sea, on occasion :D

Oh wow. That's really funny. Go on my YouTube channel: meganatureguy. I have a video of a red phase puget. It's not completely red though. At first I thought it was a valley garter. But people always make mistakes. Im just 11 years old so I'm Not like a super super super expert but I'm still Learning lots about garter snakes. I will get better as I grow and soon I will be the best herpetologist on all reptiles. I know lots about reptiles but to be honest garter snakes are the only type of reptile I struggled on learning about. Every other reptile I am a expert on but will be a even more expert as I grow. But yeah I'm almost on my way to becoming the best herpetologist in the world
