That first blacknecked garter was really different. Im also a sucker for rattlesnakes. Thanks for sharing this! :)

Very cool, and that black neck, that is awesome!! T+ albino maybe?? The eyes looked red to me.

When I read Sierra Madre, it made me think of the DLC from Fallout New Vegas. :D
Awesome snakes, though. I really love the Chihuahuan earth snake, and the bearded lizards... So cute!!!

Looks like a T+ albino to me as well. Too bad it wasn't found in America by someone willing to collect it. Gorgeous morph!

a thousand thanks for that posting i was just off to bed when i came across this thread [after finishing night shift] had to stay up and go through it several times it had just about every thing for me, garters amphibs,Chelonia AND BEST OF ALL rattle snakes, ......fantastic photo's so much better than cuddly mammals.
.....badgers badgers we don't need no steenking badgers :D:D

Field herping.... in the UK there's not much opportunity. I'm 38 and in my younger years spent weekend after weekend hiking across moorlands. I've spotted 3 adders and 1 grass snake in the wild.
