I have been keeping garters forawhile but have never had any radixes so im thinking of getting a few. Here is a pic of the youg pair of reds that im thinking about getting and a normal dark one that a friend just brought me.

I dont have one. I agree that everyone should have 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.......lol . there beatiiful. I have been using that word a lot lately but I cant help it. All the snakes have been so awesome. I dont think Ive ever seen one that isnt.

The first two were born from a wild caught and sold as normals to a friend of mine for $6.00 each they are starting to turn red now and the dark one is a long term captive of two years. The last one is already mine but im thinking of trading some stuff for the first two.

All snakes are great, all garters are quite cool; and then there are radix.
Steve is right to love these poop machines. They have made everyone I know consider having a snake. My milks never had that kind of charisma, gorgeous that they are, too.

COME ON, Steve just look at the confusion you have caused on the site none of us had a clue you had a leaning towards radix, why so reticent, several members keep radix so if there is any thing you need to know about them just ask, is it one or two snakes you have ?

I havent had one of those kind of garters before. I moved here to MI about 14 years ago from Cali and I never thought that I would own a snake. When I met my hubby he is the one that introduced me to herping. He didnt have one either cause he was a catch and release kind of guy but I wanted to start keeping them.
