Hello fellow Thamnophiles! I joined this forum a while back when I kept a few native parietalis. I have been in and out or garters for the last few years but have rejoined the community by aquiring a checkered garter a while back. This snake recently dropped a litter (pictures will come). This has inspided me to become an active member of the forum and the Thamnophis community. My name is Neil. I am a 15 year old reptile keeper residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, driving distance from the Narcise dens. I look forward to contributing to this online community! :)

welcome to the forum im fairly new too. You wouldnt be selling those babies when they get a lil bigger would you. Canadians need more garter breeders thats for sure. :D

I have a pair of albino checkered, but it will be the spring of 2013 until I cn breed them since the female is only a year old

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! I do plan on letting most these babies go to new homes. Everyone is eating well on salmon and silversides. Half have already taken unscented pinkies!

Kantar: The breeding was completly unplanned. The female was purchased at last year's spring expo as a small juvenile. She was housed with a male and this group of babies was entirely unexpected. I didnt even know that she was gravid! Im guessing that this is why I got such a small litter.
