Hello everyone, both newcomers and old familiar avatars ;)

I used to be somewhat active on this forum about 4-5 years ago. Then
life caught up with me and I didnīt really take the time to sit that
much in front of the computer anymore. ANYWAYS, Iīve been lurking
here, every now and then, since I never stopped keeping Thamnophis. My interest in them has rather grown! Greatest reptiles that nature ever created :)
My current little "family" consists of a male T.S Infernalis (as pictured) and a newcomer Eastern ribbon, also male. Kept separately of course.

I just want to say that I will try to write as much as possible, and
itīs awesome seeing how much the forum has grown in these years!!:)

Thanks Steve, Iīve been enjoying your youtube-channel thouroughly! :)
(Loved the one with the mating couple in the waterbowl, twisting and turning. Love hurts, anyone? :p).

The ribbon actually just shed an hour ago, so I will try to get some good pictures of him tomorrow. I got him from a petstore that advertised him as a "Florida blue" Sirtalis. I just to had to buy him, to make sure that he got the correct Ribbon-treatment;) High climbing and thiaminase-free feeder fish! :) Hereīs one of him though, getting some warm morningsun on our balcony, 2 weeks ago.

Sure are! He has calmed down quite a bit though, he was very "nippy" and overall very nervous when I got him (as to be expected from a Ribbon) but now he seems very content with life and is nothing but curious with my hands :) Very nice specimen.

Mine is jumpy but calming down. Her name is Shyblue.
Hope to get a male someday. Would love to breed them.

Thatīs nice, youīve got a picture of her?

To be honest with you, Iīm assuming mine is an Eastern ribbon since thatīs what he looks like the most. Pretty sure though. Thatīs what you have as well?

Yeah! I know tetrataenia is a big no no where you live, but Infernalis is ok to keep, right?
I can see you keep concinnus, I had one for a year and that was one beautiful snake as well :)

God, just writing about garters makes me smile, can you imagine more beautiful snakes? :)

Beauty is only a small part of what they offer.
They are the best kept secret in the snake hobby.
Makes it better for all of us.;)

Yes infernalis are legal. I don't have room/money for one right now, but it was on my list at one point. I got my concinnus instead. Glad I did.

Yup I have a baby concinnus, a baby Anerythristic red sided, and a baby flame (somewhat mean) all living together, and than I have my first snake, a 21 inch male red sided. (self caught) they'll all go together when they're older.
