Hi everyone! I have three snakes! A baby red-sided garter snake (named Blaze), a baby eastern garter snake (named Stripes), and an adult female Dekay's brown snake (named Peeps)! They are all awesome little guys and very cute.

Just a word to the wise. Your Dekayi is looking very lean. Has it been having eating problems?

I was going to say the same thing, either it's not eating or it just gave birth.

It gave birth a while back, but don't worry, I've met the snake before, she's a very good eater, and has taken to stealing food from the others lately.

It just had babies a few weeks ago. That's how I know it's a female because my friend thought it was a male. (The same thing happened with her snake, Thief.)

Haha, just me. I'm not good at sexing snakes, but I consider myself good at sexing frogs and doves (The occasional box turtle is fun to sex).

And of course, she can thank me for Blaze. I'm expecting great things from him/her, he/she is Theif's child after all! :)

Yeah, Blaze is pretty awesome! We also know that he/she loves to eat frogs (like his/her mother)! Haha! :)
