and another concinnus male that has escaped about 3 months ago and i don't think i am gonna find him anymore he is also from last year.

and now i only need to take some new pictures from my newest atratus also from last year. but he is very afraid of anything so those pictures i give when i have them.

Very nice snakes.

Was that concinnus eating a chicken heart? Looked like some kind of organ food. Just a guess.

yes its safe to feed chicken heart.
over here in the netherlands much people feed chicken hearts.
just as snack not as main feeder i give them smelt most of the time.
but also chicken hert chicken liver and other organ food of chicken and small other animals.

Some of my snakes get turkey heart, liver and gizzard as a treat around Thanksgiving time.
Some like it and others turn it down. I would love to have access to chicken hearts but I can't seem to find them.
Plenty of livers and gizzards on the market though.
The gizzards are a pain to work with as I have to cut all the muscle tissue away and only feed the organ part.

i have the hearts from the bucher here in the village.
they dont have them in stock but they can order them for me.

i will make a little picture movie of eating organ food this week.
i will get some different kinds of organs to feed.
