Hello,
I ended up upgrading a 10 gallon to a 25 gallon for 3 of my small garters. This is the end result, what do you think?

Looks good, I'd like to be able to do vine like that but I fail when I try. Any techniques?

Looks great, wish I had more plants in mine. Hopefully you don't own any escape artists, those vines make a nice ladder to the top.

Very nice looking setup.
Should give your snakes lots of happy exploring time.

That setup is really gorgeous! I bet you have a heck of a time catching the little darlings when they don't want to be caught!
That setup looks like a lush green rainforest.

@HazAnga - It takes more than 1 vine to get something really good. When coiling them together keep your fingers in the way to create gaps. for a big tank like a 20 gallon, 2 larges and a small vine together make something pretty good. Also I used bamboo plants to support the vines.
@plissken - I try to give them as much climbing space as I possibly can because my snakes tend to find the small ledge of the inside top of the aquarium and try to crawl along it but slip off and plunk to the bottom and it happens every couple minutes when I'm trying to sleep.
Whenever I do a setup I always think of ways to fill that spot. The pet store at the corner of my street has a used section, I always visit that area because sometimes buying new is just too expencive. Also next time you are at a pet store, give the bird section a look, perches and hangy things are a great addition. Try a birds next on the top corner of the cage, one with a closed top (http://common1.csnimages.com/lf/1/hash/8430/3041692/1/Super-Pet-Natures-Nest--Large-Nest-Finch-Stick.jpg) (link). I have a 3 foot stick vine for my largest tank that houses 2 corn snakes that are 4 ft long. I have that stick hanging from the top and they use it like a hammock.
I should post pictures of my other tanks too, they all have a unique look to them.

That is incredible! I wish i could do that... only i don't have enough snakes to occupy a 25 gallon tank that's been decorated :P

Measure it. Length, width, height. Then check here: Chart of Tank Sizes (http://www.thekrib.com/TankHardware/size-chart.html)
Bookmark the page and keep it handy. I have found it very useful.
