I'm new to the whole biology, herp, stuff (i love it, my true passion has always been animals).. can someone explain this?
I see people signatures and stuff, they say, like, 1.0 sirtalis, 0.2 radix..
I'm not sure what that means exactly..
I'd google, but i have no clue what to search.
Thanks

1.2.4 means 1 male, 2 females, 4 unsexed/unsure

So i have 2.0 parietalis, and 1.0 sirtalis... cool.

Some folks have also more recently taken to adding a 4th part which is for eggs. Seems silly to me but hey who am I to argue haha.. To each their own. So as mentioned it's:
# of male. # of female. # of unknown. # of eggs

i was just as puzzled with the same thing, my worry was that it might be such a glaring obvious answer that i would embarrass myself on the open forum, so i PM'D Steve who assured me " it wasn't a dumb question, and is asked lots of times" so you are in good company ;)
