I will be heading to Arizona on a mission trip with my church in 12 days. While there I will be doing some field herping. Anything particular I should be watching for while I am herping? I was hoping some of you westerners might clue me in. I will be in the eastern Arizona area, Show Low to be exact.

It's OK. If it rattles, just grab the rattle then it won't make any noise.:p
No, don't do that, but seriously, maybe you can find some blackneck or checkered garters at some of the lakes around there.:)
I've had no such luck in AZ but I probably wasn't looking in the right places. Plenty of rattlers, gopher snakes, and king snakes though, that's for sure.
