Hi everyone,

Haven't posted in a long time, but I do occasionally lurk around the "nature photography" thread. For some reason I still get email updates for that thread, which is a nice reminder to come back and check in here.

Right now I don't have any garters! ...considering they are by far one of my favorite snakes its quite a shock.

I have seen wild garters around here this spring though- which is an excellent sign. Here is a photo of one lovely snake roaming around the back woods.

...now I gotta go off to see if there are any recent garter snake classifieds on this site!!! I'm into this bioactive, live-planted vivarium phase and I need another thamnophis species! :D :D

The best habitats and vivariums could not replicate nature! :D ... reptile conservation is very important to me (and hopefully all others who love snakes can appreciate them in their natural state too!)
