Got up to a nice surprize this morning, 19 brand new little squiggles. All are well and very active and have gone through the first shed without any trouble. No stillborns, no jellies, and mom's doing fine.

I know, my photography skills leave much room for improvement. I'll try to do better next time.

Well, I can tell they're pugets now but just barely. Anyway, I'm not here to criticize the photos. That does look like a nice healthy litter and congrats are definitely in order.

None are sold yet, want to wait 'till they all ate a couple of times. About half of them already took some little worm pieces but I'll feel better to know they're all doing well.

Yeah, those are good photos. This folks, for those of you that don't know this, is what most pugets in their range look like. In some areas, including the US/Canada border they look like a T. s. fitchi or similar to a T.s. concinnus.(red phase puget) The blue ones are actually a very locality-specific color variation and have a very limited range which is only a tiny percentage of their range.;) Go to Olympia and they're blue.(just around the southern tip of the sound) Travel only just a little ways toward Seattle, and they are no longer blue. Northern WA and Canada - red phase.
These babies will likely develop a sort of light yellow/green "wash" color to the white areas as they get older. Or not. They could just stay off-white.

They're actually already blue, some green, but none tan which is what they look like in the pictures.

Don't have a picture of the dad but the 2 mommies are displayed in my gallery (not sure how to move them to this post).
