Replying to a thread

I've not been on the board for a while but I've just tried to reply to some threads but it says I don't have permission, does anyone know what might be causing this?

oh it looks like it might be something to do with the classified section. I just found a post from someone that might be able to ship to the UK and wanted to add a reply but I've PM'd them for now.

If you'll notice, right under the link for the for sale/wanted section it says "Please note, replies are not allowed. for more information, please PM the poster"

I just wish they would give the OP the option to delete the ad. All we can do is reply and tell everyone they're sold. The OP can reply to his own ad, but nobody else can.;)

I have actually had that happen to me (recently) trying to respond to a thread for a member for whom I have contacted and responded to in the past. I have figured it's a glitch in the system at the moment and have moved on. It has happened a few times.

It also has nothing to do with classifieds.
