General question, will an adult male mate with multiple adult females if given the chance? Not sure how possible this is, I know a lot of people pair theirs up, but I was wondering if he would be able to fertalize multiple girls, or if this is not possible with snakes.

Most male garter snake would have no problem with multiple breedings.
I have a male albino that bred to multiple females this year.
He bred to two different females within 12 hours of each other.

Yes, no problem! That's a "star stud" male garter snake's job! When you get one that's a good breeder, you definitely can use him to fertilize a group of females. Just like any male, it's probably best to give him a day or two to rest and recharge between encounters though.

Put Snakey in there if you have northwesterns. He'll screw any snake in his path, male or female. He was courting with Snap, Ember Thumbelina, Squirt and Runt when I had him in that tank.

That boy has a problem:eek: Flicker tried to mate with baby concinnus' too, but only because they had just shed. He's a horn dog too.

Yes, he does. He'll do it in shed, after shed, while they're shedding, etc. He locked up with Mama while she was in the process of shedding and Mama's shed got all bunched on her tail and hardened. I had to use some scissors and tweezers after the were done. It was almost hard as a rock around her tail. Stinkin' boy.
