Western WA and NW Oregon has a nearly identical climate. I guess that's why Psilocybe semilanceata grows so well here, even though it's native to the UK.

Well funny story.
For a few years I had an eastern box turtle male. I decided that I wanted to breed them so I got a female. she was a jerk, but she breed and I had eggs. So I let them hatch sold off the babies but she died... So I no longer breed turtles, but I kept my male.

I guess a few miles makes a big difference. I don't know what sunny weather you're talking about. We had some sun on April 1st and that's it. Not too bad today, but certainly not sunny, and certainly not warm. Poured buckets of rain all night last night.
