Maybe 8 to 9 inches long located in northeast Florida. Just interested to see if it is safe and what it may be. Is not aggressive. Always tries to slither away. Thanks1669

I wouldn't say "likely" as if it's almost certain, but it's definitely possible.

It does look like many eastern garters that I see people calling "florida blues" but then again, I can rarely see why they would be called that. Most of the ones I see don't look even a little bit blue to me.

Very nice snake. I agree with Rhea, that he is "likely" a Florida Blue. He looks just like my Jesse, who is a Florida Blue. Not too much coloring but in the right light a hint of blue. They have very cute faces. Congratulations and Welcome!
