I know that Cariad is mother to my Amy, and I know that Cariad's brother is Amy's father.
Who and what is the father of this litter? I'll be needing a 2011 male nebraska/iowa double het this year, or an albino male, to pair up with the other female hets and/or that 2010 nebraska I recently got from you.

she's still feisty! doesn't try to bite very often now. she was pretty calm when I took this pic.
Richard...the father of this litter is the brother of Cariad. same father as the babies I sent you.

If you ever retire her Don. She's welcome to live on the Ranch.
I'm going to starting a retirement radix wing to the Ranch.
It's going to be called "Serpent Serenity" a radix retirement community.
Let me know what you think.

she is 6. yea, someone over there guessed the number of babies the albino mother was going to have. since the winner would receive one and they were overseas, they just named her. :D

Can't get the math to fit. Are you sure she's not 4? The forum hasn't even been online for 5.

Should have let the winner select someone located here, to receive the baby on their behalf. Well, not telling you what you should do, that's just what I would have done.

I tried to remember when it could have been and was off by a bit. Didn't bother changing what I wrote in the same post after I pasted the links.

Well in that case, she's in her prime baby makin' years. Many more litters to come. Speaking of which, are you growing up some holdbacks to replace her when it's time for retirement? I certainly would. She's producing some awesome babies.:D

I have the orange nebraska female and a male nebraska albino with some hints of orange coming in. I also have a couple normals.....but they are available for sale. I will probably hold back a pair of orange Iowas if I can get them. I crossed the male with the red one last year also. I am holding a pair of them also. the female is turning red!!!!

Don do you have a thread where you posted pics of her previous litters? Very curious about her and her offspring, looking at other threads it seems she has produced some gorgeous snakes. Would you mind if anyone on the forum who has some of her babies posted pics of them here? Sort of a central view point.

Giving this a bump only because I brought her up in Kashgarter's 100% thread. Awesome snake, always thought Richards Amy was a very beautiful snake, one of Cariads offspring. So here you had a snake that was producing both albino types along with the x-mas morphs. Not sure if she could also produce anery or axanthic. Is there a thread that discussed Cariads litter where she was produced and what the dame and sire were? Was she Dons doing?
Dan72

Okay, so just did more reading thru old posts of Don's. If you take a look at Don's massive garter thread the answer to who Cariads parents are there. Also they were produced by Felzer (surprise) so when the guys that know what they're doing say that the offspring have the potential to create a abundance of morphs, trust that they do know what they are talking about and buy a pair of hets;) Also does anyone still keep in contact with Jason (Chondro)? I checked his page he hasn't been on the forum in a couple years but he has Richard's Amy along with other siblings that descend from this Cariad line which descend from work of Felzer, just wondering if Jason was still in the game and working with this line of snakes still? Anyone have him thru Facebook or another forum?

Yes, did see your add and kicked myself when they were gone (that's why I contacted you about what you had left when we worked out what we did because I did not want to kick myself again. All I know is if next season you hit on the stuff I think you'll produce I'm going to need to work some OT this winter and create some space in this house. I wonder what the kids bedroom would look like converted into a snake room? Now what to do with the kids......hmmmm.
