:):) Hello everyone , this is my first post and I'd like 2 start by saying 'THANK YOU ! " to all the peeps involved in contributing to make this Website ,All that it is ..""

This Website is F'n Awesome ! Whether looking 4 pics or Vital info ----- Hats Off !.

I live in Toronto and only recently have sparked a very keen interest in snakes .Especially garter snakes .These r the snakes I'm most familiar with cause of the 7 or 8 snakes I've found while walking .

I have yet to become a pet owner ,but hope to change this in the Spring and I would really like 2 start with 1 or 2 baby garters. As far as snakes go - I tend to group them into 2 types:Type #1 has a triangular - shaped head . Type #2 does Not .
Now I personally like the way that Garter Snakes look.
Now I have browsed the net lookin 4 snakes to buy and it seems that most of the general public r into the "big constrictors "; Pythons , Boas,etc... Prices varying on availability, rate of Coolness, color combo's,etc... ..
It's amazing how crazy some folks r when it comes to the almighty dollar.

Oh Oh !! Emergency !----------------------------------verbal diarhea.
Sometimes , I start 2 ramble.Be happy I can't type.Ha ha

I hope that anyone who's reading this now has I really good day and that
them and there 's are Safe & Well.
Sincerely David:)

Hello David.
Nice to have you on the forum.
A good place to start before you actually get a garter snake is the care sheet.
It should answer many question. For those other questions feel free to ask.
Garter snakes are far more interesting and interactive that most snakes.

Welcome to the forum David. You will be very happy with any Garter Snake that you should acquire as a companion. They are the most personable snakes around. Very inquisitive and are diurnal. Their care is very easy, so they are a very easy going snake to have.
