well, the past week I've seen a lot of mating going on between my trio (Helgo, Tina, and Major) It seems like it's always an hour or two after lights out. I don't see them doing anything during day time like i did last year.
Good sign though I've seen Major with both of the girls. So now it's time to keep feeding and weighing every few weeks.
Question though... is it normal for a male to not eat during this time frame... Tina doesn't seem to interested in food either, now could i see about worms? i heard it's easier to git them started eating after they've gone through brumation by offering worms.

Major seems to be focused on taking care of business:D Not unusual.
I wouldn't be too worried about it at this time.
How long has Tina been off food?

Concinnus do this at various times throughout the year without actually mating. Might want to consider that might be what's happening here too. And usually when a mating occurs, they stop courting and everything goes back to normal. Yours probably havent actually mated if their still behaving like this.

Males with sex on their minds aren't the least bit concerned about food. Heck, one time I was sitting by the Columbia river and a huge female slithered right up to my feet, and stopped, completely oblivious. A few seconds later, two males that were chasing her caught up to her. All these snakes were not paying any attention to me at all. I even tried to "shoo" them away. They didn't budge. My point is, they are focused on sex and nothing else matters to them, not even food.

I figured...,but still has me worried, major needs to eat soon its been at least 3 months for him and tina. Too much longer and major will be visually underfed.
