Very nice Don - good work! Most people don't realize how much effort goes into maintaining a website. Love the orange and silver eastern garter, by the way. Also your Blog is a nice feature. ;-)

thanks!! yes, lots of work, was fun too! the blog was my wife's idea last year...she has one for the family that is always being updated and fun. I don't know if anyone is visiting it....they may be, but no one is commenting :D
I still have the orange eastern...currently brumating. have a nice male from Michigan brumating....will be putting them together. I am short on male breeder easterns, so this boy will have his work cut oout for him!! Hopefully he gets the hint from my male het albino plains, bred with 3 different girls last year  the silve unfortunately passed away last year :(
11 sites Wayne? wow!! I just have the website, blog, and a facebook page....

I had to log onto godaddy just to check on how many URLs I have registered.
A few of them are just for hosting files.
But most of them are actual sites, The site advertising my park is always busy.

I want to argue about the word `totally´ in your declaration,
I´m missing your link to my websites;)
Fantastic work, Don, I wondering about a relaunch of my homepage too,
but haven´t fixed the structure yet.
I like your use of Latin but I´m considering about the meaning.
Those are not the adages I´d learned in school!

I can add it!
not sure on the latin's meaning.....I left it there as a joke, is on the dreamweaver programs. they have premade pages that you just go in and change the text, add pics and so on...was being goofy
I might have to go copy them and translate to see what I have on my site

This is what´s normal for Europe:
When you like to present serious content for serious customers, you must use nothing but light pale background colours, one clear font in a consistent dark colour... so most websites are like this over here.

It's also a question of how easy it is to read. The brighter the background, the harder it is on the eyes to read the text. And the harder it is on the eyes, the less likely it is that people will spend time on (and return to) the website.

well, time to redo the website. my kids laptop has my dreamweaver program on it...the computer runs slow. I needed a new website building program....one that works on vista. I found one called Xara webuilder 6. so, my site is going to look a lot different now. the old one is coming down here in a few minutes and the new test one is going up. but, with this new program on my laptop I am able to update it any time I want without having to wait on the other computer. :D
so, don't laugh at it too much  I haven't figured out how to remove some of the background graphics.....

great job on the new site Don, you gave me cause to smile when you revealed that Lyndi was not a snake person, i had always assumed that i was the worlds only snake enthusiast who's wife would rather not be in the same room as a snake or more to the point many snakes, something almost reassuring in this:D

thanks! she is getting better, but will never be the snake nut I am.... 3 of my 4 kids are snake nuts too... my 2nd oldest daughter Claire has absolutely no interest in snakes either. :D

you are still well up on me Don, six kids and not a snake nut among st them, but one glimmer of hope my third son Chris has become interested in tortoises and has a red foot and a yellow foot he has also gently nudged me aside and taken over responsibility for my leopard tortoise so things are moving slowly in the right direction,
one further thing while i'm talking to you, you might have noticed in one or two of my posts my intention to do an American road trip in 2013 and apart from meeting some garter people/friends i hope to pick up some garters while there but have no idea how i would go about getting them back so im hoping that yourself or someone who is a serious breeder will be able at that point to give me the low down [or should that be the heads up] on what to do.

I use firefox and the website worked for me. Do you have any addons that might have caused that? I use adblock when playing any sort of browser game to block any images on the game that get in my way ;)
