New to the forum, not to snakes

Although im not new to snakes I am new to keeping them. I have a self-caught Red Sided garter snake.

where was that snake caught?

ok...loooked a little odd for a red sider...but yep, it is. saw your state under your picture and was curious...since red sided arent found that far east. :D

Yeah, thats the only kind i've ever seen up there.
