Hi,
my name is Robert and I am new in this forum.
My Hobby is terraristik and all my lizards and snakes comes from your beautiful country.
I have visited the united states some times and love this country. but, my english isnt so good, I hope ist good enough to read and write som small parts and I can become some information, eventuelly good friends.

In the moment I breed every year many and some different collared lizards (differend morphs from Utah/Colorado/Oklahoma and NM but all are Crotaphytus collaris)
and I have 7 captive breeded red spotted gartersnakes from 2010, borned in Germany.
In the last times I have a long time no snakes, the last before approx. 10-15 years was some Thamnophis radix and Thamnophis sirtalis tetrataenia (only 3 males, captive breeded from an dutch zoo).
And tan a snail eating snake from Costa Rica, Dipsas articulata.
I have a site over this snake that I have breed.. Dipsas (http://www.crotaphytus.de/dipsas.htm)
l hope we have a nice time. Noe it is night here in the old world, good night,
Robert

Welcome to the forum, congratulations on your successful breeding of the Dipsas. I'm sure they are alot more difficult to maintain than our garters.

Hi Robert,

gibt es noch ein Witten, außer dem im "Pott"?

Welcome aboard, nice to have another German member in the community.
You´ll see, there are several German speaking members here yet, but not all are displaying the German flag;)

Hi Udo, hi all...
yes, I can confirm to you that there is no other Witten in this world, except that in the coal pot (German industryregion).
But my home town of Braunschweig (Brunswik old German) has a pondon in New Brunswick...

And you Udo live in Bonn, the city behind the seven mountains?
Then I solve: you are the owner of a garter snake named "Santa Cruz" ...

I hope that I will not disgrace my people very much, for I speak and write a terribly flawed English

Best wishes, Robert

Hellow,
here I send some from my first Thamnophis s. concinnus pictures.
That are my garters.
Two are captive breeded snakes from Steven Bol, Netherland, the other from Mandy Richter, Germany.
