Ok, All of my snakes have stuck up their noses recently to worms, salmon, live fish and pinkies. Anybody else have this going on? My little guys were going bonkers the other night, all over the enclosure yet not one was really interested to the daily special. The big girls just look at me:rolleyes: Wondering if it's the change in seasons coming up.

Probably just the change of seasons. Every one of my pets has turned their nose up at food for the past couple of days. My frog and snake will probably only want to eat once or twice a week and the geckos will only want to eat every second day instead of every day.
They do this every fall and sometimes for a bit in the spring.

They are just exercising their independence from the tyrany you have imposed on them.:D
Then again it might just be a change in the season.:D;)

Runt and Mama have been turning their noses to their own favorite foods, too. Mama's been having a bad appetite lately, though. And Runt just got moved to a new enclosure, so I'm sure he's just a bit nervous :)

Noodle was the only one to eat tonight. Cornelius, Nibbler and Spartacus all turned their noses up at their dins. Little jerks.

Mama turned her nose up to her food today too! And she escaped and attempted to go on a vacation  She thinks that just because she's possibly pregnant it means she can go anywhere she likes, and throw a hissy fit (literally) when she doesn't get her way. I've never heard her hiss so much at me when I found her and picked her up. Little miss prissy pants...

Haha, males tend to be less prissy ;) and my male, Snakey, eats worms as if they're going out of fashion :D they just need a little bit of time usually id they wont eat :)

Failte thinks she starving. I don't know why, she eats every other evening. It is still really warm here though. Maybe a few more weeks and she will do the same.
In fact she out right now, probably thinking "I am ready for dinner. Hello, HeLLOOO"" HeHe

I know Amy (t. radix) is always willing to eat but if it's been 4 or 5 days he'll really let you know when he's really hungry. If I go anywhere near his tank, or open it to change the water, he comes rushing out flailing in the air with his mouth open as if to say "put the pinky here now!" It's so funny.
