Just walking out of the house, heading to the State Fair(2 hour drive). I'll get some photos from the "Snakes Alive" exhibit and post them later tonight.

Oh hey! I saw the "snakes alive" exhibit when it was here in my county a few years back. They had a gigantic snapping turtle and even some gators. I know you'll enjoy it!

Sounds awesome. I wish I didn't live in the middle of freaking nowhere. Nothing cool like that comes around here.

Rattlesnakes are my fave of the venomous variety. But that Great Basin one is amazing!!! I have not seen one of those before. What beautiful animals.

great basins are awesome! I live right in the middle of their territory. I relocate them every summer as part of my job.... :cool:

it's a year round job..... animal control officer for the county :cool: I am the resident reptile expert. unfortunately this summer I didn't see one gb rattler.... :( only had one call that was possibly a rattler, but was a gopher snake. but as far as snake calls go, I had 11 snake calls and found 8 snakes.....real good summer for snakes!! usually half the time the snakes are gone before I get there.
