I am so excited. Our gravid wild caught females just gave birth both in the same day and it seems like we have adleast 11 healthy bright eyed little Thamnophis Serialis(Maritime garters) zipping around the tank. Now hopefully they eat well just like their mothers did.

:( I took a pile of gorgeous pics of the babys and stored them in my pc then deleted them off my memory card. THEN my pc decided it hated me and started rebooting over and over and over again and to make things worse. My LAPTOP refuses to read my memory card -_-'. Im going to have to see if i can find the usb cord for my camera

weeeeelll.... Had a bit of a success... My pc went up to startup page and i saw my desktop icons then restarted again. Maybe if i wait long enough ill be able to transfer my photos onto a usb stick then reformat my pc... But i dont think its a virus. I think its an issue with the fan in my pc overheating.

My pc did that plenty of times when it had a virus. I also had problems like that when my processor was bad.

A fan not properly cooling will do the reboot thing. So will a virus. When I was building the kids computer, my fan wasn't working properly and that's exactly what happened.

We bred 2 clutches of corns one year(My first year breeding) and good homes were important to us. even then we ended up with 4 people selling my babies on kijiji within a month or two. One was selling hers like 5 times the price i sold her and we also ended up with two given back. So from now on we always make sure were in a position where we can be picky and only breed a small clutch if we decide to breed. And mostly i dont think well be breeding snakes all that often. I have a pair of cockatiels that i can breed every few years. They have less young and that way its easier to be picky since you only have 3-4 babies to find homes for a clutch. I'm a motherer and cant have children so i love breeding but only when in a position where i can be picky about where my babies go and also that the parents are the best possible temperament, feeding and also aesthetically.
Tottally off topic but here are some pics of my clutch of cockatiels i handfed myself for 3 months. We sadly lost the normal boy a few months back due to a bad batch of bird pellets from pets unlimited. We almost lost
all of our birds.

Off topic or not, the birds are such a joy and very awesome! I too raised cockatiels in San Diego in the 80's. Had an outdoor aviary and hand raised lots of babies. Had a lutino pair (like that last baby pic) that bred like crazy but were terrible parents. No problem. I just took the babies away and raised them myself which was my plan all along. Had pieds and normals too.
