My girls, Nova, Honda, VP and Boomerang were all resting under the cold side hide. I was able to get this photo. These 4 work so well together. The only girl that is missing is Rita(R.I.P.)
I just noticed the old girl(Boomerang) has surrounded all the others, keeping them safe. What a good girl.:D

Boomerang-brick red phase T.radix
VP- Lite phase vanishing pattern T.radix.
Honda- dark phase T.radix
Nova- red phase T.radix

The best part about this group is how friendly they are. No startle response or jumpiness.
Just 4 well behaved ladies. They are a special group here on the Ranch.
I may try some late Fall breeding with Boomerang since she passed on Spring breeding.
She's getting to be an older snake.

Awww, very adorable snakes :) Snakey and Mama are often found laying together. Mama usually wraps herself around Snakey as if she were protecting him. When I introduced Runt and Snakey, Snakey coiled up after a while and Runt laid on top of him. It was the cutest thing ever!

Thanks for all the comments. That enclosure seems empty without Rita.
A couple more years and I'll have some little Rita's running around the Ranch.
I have a couple of her sons that will be breeding size and age in the Spring. None of the females will be ready for next Spring.
One thing I have plenty of is patience, being a father of 5 kids and 4 of them girls:eek: I have lots of it.

I think what he is saying is that he already has rita's hets. When they are ready to breed, he can make albino babies like her. Can't wait!

I caught the girls napping and they were nice enought to let me get a few photos. Nova just finished a shed. She was still wet.
The second photo is of Nova and VP.

I love them also. They are just as beautiful in the orange, brick, yellow-orange, etc. phases.;)

I've got some beautiful red phases growing up right now. It's been a good year for them. Next year will be even better.
It's the following year I'm really looking forward to. Rudolf will be at breeding age. I've also got a couple others I've been keeping secret. so don't tell anyone:rolleyes:

The girls have for the most part gone off food.
They were all resting in the hide and didn't mind a new picture being taken.
Once again Boomerang was surrounding the group.

Boomerang was given to me by a good friend. Since coming to the Ranch she's grown considerably.
She also has a wonderful attitude with both me and my children. She's a very content snake.

Steve, all your snakes have a wonderful attitude... Okay, not all of them but you know. I wish Mama was as tame as yours, she's getting there though, she took a nap with me earlier today :D She stayed in my arms the whole time.

Boomerang is at 225 grams
Honda is at 195 grams
Those are the two biggest girls in the group.
Sorry for not getting back to your question in a timely manor.;)
