This handsome male red phase radix is in opaque phase(shedding). He is usually a very good eater and doesn't hesitate pushing little old radixes out of the way to be first to eat. Tonight, while I fed his roommates he apparently became disgusted with the whole thing and moved to the back of the enclose and simply watch everyone else eat. I know he was hungry but he just couldn't eat at this time. I felt so sorry for him as he would start out to take a worm from someone then remember her was not eating. He's such a funny young man.
He fathered Rita's(R.I.P.) last group. He was also Honds's mate(she passed jellies this year)

He's so... distinguished. I can see a lot of character in just that one photo. He's awesome.

I checked on him tonight and his eyes are as blue as I've ever seen.
He is one uncomfortable young man.

What a difference a shed makes. Only in this case the difference is in appearance only. For the first time Mr. Mansley showed some aggression towards me. While taking photos of his new colors he did an open mouth lunge at me. He's in the time out enclosure as we speak reading over the T.radix Ranch handbook. Section 9e, "Ranch Behavior". He has to write a two page essay on why that rule is important. He also misses out on the Sat.night movie. He's being stubborn and has yet to apologize so I'm being a little hard on him, you know? Setting an example to the rest.:D
He's a good man and will soon be back with his friends.

I give him a hard time but he's a real nice radix. I just wish he was mine. He's going to spend the rest of Summer, Fall and Winter on the Ranch.
He'll get some brumation time then it's back to work for him. He's got some real competition coming up in the Spring since I have that new Iowa albino male radix.
He'll eventually head back to Des Moines.

That's not a birthmark. He used to work for the State Roads Dept. He was one of the guys that sprays that florescent paint on the roads. Well,
there was a accident with one of the spray cans and now he has that mark.:D

Yes, he's just on loan to me.
His job is to pass on that red if it is in fact a bloodline thing. He only gets bred to females from his own area.
