I never had much intrest in garters till I saw one in the shop and fell in love with them, and are now one of my fav snakes and hope to get more in the future, here is mine

I belive he's a plains garter, the shop i got him from it just said garter

Nice looking T.radix. She's a beauty. The size of that head and body girth makes me believe you've got a female there. If you can post a photo of the under side of the tail we can let you know for sure. T.radix is my favorite garter snake. They seem to live very well with people.

Looking at the sexing pics it looks like a male, but will get photos up once i have someone to help me since itts very hard to get a photo with just me.

I've had him for 3 months, and heis the most entertaining thing to feed, he'll grab the food been offered without hesitation and devour it quickly.

hello from NJ it all started with 1 garter for me you are hooked in 3 months you will have all your other snakes sold and only have garters LOL at least thats how it worked for me they drew me in i love it.

What a great testament to garter snakes.
They do have a magic. Missed by so many people and many of those people are snake people.
We all are very fortunate to be working with such a wonderful animals.

In the UK garters seem very unpopular, iv'e seenpeople giving them away and people not taking, also saw someone struggling to sell san fransisco garters
