So a few years ago I hosted a scheduled chat for Thamnophis.com
The attendance was good and we had some nice conversation.
So I'm wondering if having another one interests anybody?

What was the chat about, in general?

Wow you're fast, posted even before I finished making the poll.

It was about garter snakes, then drifted to other reptiles then just general chit chat.
If anyone has suggestions for a theme feel free to make one

Where were you going to host it? If somebody here doesn't mind featuring his face and/or voice, I'd recommend blogTV. Would save me the trouble of starting a new account or installing any software. :D

Maybe it's time we tried it again. It would depend on the time of day (bearing in mind the time difference), as to whether or not I would participate.

Since we span multiple time zones worldwide, it seems it would be a bit difficult.

Heck, I don't even know what time it is locally.. half the time. Work has me 7am-3pm one week, 3pm-11pm the next. I'm so dang confused, I just get up and work. I'm on autopilot.

But what if you need a ball that will roll down a hill with a certain slope in a certain time? :p
probably you'd need a ball with a certain weight-diameter ratio, and possibly some understanding of basic calculus
oh yeah, and some amount of love for figuring things out

as to the time . . .
perhaps going for maximum overlap ought to be the way to go
early morning on the West coast is late morning on the East coast is early evening in western Europe is night in Asia
most people are available on some weekend day, but generally less willing to rise early, so . . .
late morning on the West coast is mid-afternoon on the East Coast is party time in western Europe is very late in most of Asia and real early in Hawaii
