I would like to thank both adamanteus and Thamnphis for accepting the responsibility of being a forum moderator. The site has grown faster then I could have imagined when I launched it less then a year ago, and with their help, I hope to keep the forum moving forward and growing.

Two great choices Boots, and congratulations to both James & Fons. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Feel free to PM me if there is anything I can do to help you get settled in :). Best regards,

I was already wondering when Cazador would get some help. How he could keep up with all the posts:eek:
Well, I think they're a good addition to the mod team :)

I saw it coming. :) But honestly, I didn't expect two new moderators. :p
James and Fons,
Congradulations and thanks. I was wondering how Jason and Rick were managing to keep ahead of everything at the rate the forum has grown lately.

Thanks everyone. I was really surprised and flattered when I was asked to be a Moderator. I feel quite honoured! I guess there are so many posts going up now that Boots and Cazador can't read them all. So I'll be helping out with that, screening the first posts of new members to try to keep the spam off the forum, and to generally keep the forum clean and safe.
Of course, if there is any other way I can help anyone out please just ask. I think it's a good idea that we have a Moderator from Europe, not least of all because of the time difference...I can be on line while our US and Canadian cousins are tucked up in their beds!
Thanks again all.

Matt,
At this rate, you might become our first "old and wise snake." :)

Well, technically YOU are, since you have more than 1000 posts. Actually, you could get your own custom user title if you wanted.

I think I made it to about 650 or maybe 700 posts before my user title changed. I don't really remember which it was, but you and James have both made it farther than I did :). I'm pulling for you, pal ;).

Well, I'll just have to keep posting. And I'm almost at 700. Yeah, it's got to be hard work moderating this with only one helper. Where is Thamnophis? He hasn't posted yet in this thread.
