Midnight the (nearly black) dark phase eastern delivered about 20 really big healthy babies, and one deformed baby that lived about 2 minutes and died.

they are really active little buggers.

put them in a 5 gallon tank for now.

Congratulations! If I may ask what and how and when do you plan to feed them? I also had a redsided garter that had babies,my first time breeding so I'm trying to get as much info,if you don't mind me asking. Cute little babies you got there.

all healthy, robust and very active.

Yes it is, and out of the whole litter one baby is nearly all black with no pattern.

I kinda like those lighter colored ones. Especially that big one there with almost no dorsal stripe. You might just have to send me one when I finally get working again and am able send you your female 3 stripe concinnus.;)

The little runt just died. Found it belly up this morning.

The rest are all eating like little pigs. So far live minnows seems to be all they are interested in, but they eat a few each.

Was the runt the one that was almost all black? Never did post a picture of that one, I was curious to see it....

Yes it was the one that had the darkest pigment. :(
