I found this suspicious looking item laying beside a large pile of radix feces.
I've never seen or had to deal with tapeworms before. Could this be segments of a tapeworm?

doesn't look like any tapeworms I ever dealt with....the segments are white and look kinda like grains of rice. not sure what that is

Then I'm guessing it might be dried night crawler. Having it laying so close to the feces is what made me think it might be a parasite.

So what kind of worms are snakes prone to??? Do they get round worms, hookworms etc??? I know how to find those on a microscope. And what does a barrage of worming for a snake entail exactly??? ( NO, I'm NOT thinking of worming them myself! Worming my stallion is exciting enough! )

Panacur(oral) for 3 days in a row. A 2 week break then Panacur for 3 more days.
This is the way my Vet. had me do it.

That doesn't look like a tape worm at all.
