Cute lil bugger. Should be interesting to see how blue it ends up.

That head pattern is so cute! Pugets and Florida Blues are on my list for when I'm able to get some more tanks and money to buy them ;)
(S)he's a cutie!

that one's from Shannon?
I've got an older sibling then I think
she's a great snake
Fl. blues have very special faces - sort of like stained glass window

Shannon sold me the parents in '08. James and Ernestine were my first garters, so these first babies are EXTRA-special to me. :)

Thanks again Shannon, for EVERYTHING!

Gee! How come my blue doesn't look like that? Every time I open the tank, she runs or turns and faces me like, "C'mon! Pick me up! I DARE ya!" I took her up on her dare last night and picked her up and she nailed me about 5 times! ( I didn't feel a thing. ) I tried to get pics but she was too fast for my camera. Would've made a great shot though!

My snakes wouldn't dare act like that. They are sweet and well-behaved.:D

Gee! How come my blue doesn't look like that? Do you mean as blue? As checkered? These aren't even blue yet!

Oh yeah, you have yourself a GOOd female blue there. Note I didn't say nice, none of them took the Dale Carnegie course. However, I find the males to be much less confrontational, in my limited experience.

( I didn't feel a thing. ) Kinda like being squeezed between two pokey-sides of velcro? I love that! LOL! :)

Yeah, you get used to having the camera ready for silly garter stuff. I guess that's why Burms and Anaconda get so big, and why hots have venom. They don't have one TENTH the "personality" of our babies!!!!

Actually no. I really didn't feel a thing. It was kinda like being bumped by a thread of yarn. So when do these baby bites start having pain associated with it? Or is my skin really that tough??? ( Funny. I always thought I was the thin skinned type! )

I meant THAT baby looks nice and calm and relaxed with the human contact. Not like my little dragonet baby! Are all of Shannon's babies that laid back????

And yes she does have the barest hint of blue about her.

my blue is really sweet
I'd heard that they could be less than nice, and since they grow large, I started getting her used to me early on
I guess it worked
